TECTYL 802A is a premium solvent-free lubricating oil and corrosion preventative manufactured by Daubert Chemical Company, specifically formulated to meet the requirements of Military Specification MIL-PRF-3150. This high-performance preservative oil is designed for the protection of interior gear assemblies, transmissions, and differentials, providing exceptional corrosion inhibition for both ferrous and non-ferrous metals in demanding environments. Application Guidelines
- Can be applied by spray or dip methods
- Recommended ambient and product temperature: 50-95°F (10-35°C) at time of application
- Apply at 0.5 mils wet film thickness for optimal protection
- Suitable for spray, brush, slush, dip, felt wiper, or electrostatic oiler applications
- For spray application:
- Use pumps with ratios of 15:1 or greater
- Recommended tungsten carbide nozzles (.011″ to .015″ tip orifice)
- Use high-pressure fluid hoses (minimum 3/8-inch diameter)
Storage and Handling
- Store in original containers at recommended temperatures
- Removal of wet and dry film using mineral spirits or citrus-based cleaners

- Not recommended for outdoor exposure applications
