TECTYL® 7192 is a premium water-based cavity wax developed by Daubert Chemical Company as part of the TECTYL® Protective Coatings line. This innovative, non-flammable, and low VOC rustproofing solution is specifically designed to provide exceptional corrosion and protection for automobiles and transportation equipment. By forming a sophisticated protective barrier, TECTYL® 7192 safeguards internal areas of vehicles, including body cavities and seams, from rust and corrosion damage.

Application Guidelines

Equipment Recommendations

  • Spray Equipment:
    • Spray wand or hose
    • Pump ratios: 15:1 or greater
    • Tungsten Carbide Nozzle
    • Tip size: 0.017″ to 0.025″
  • Hose Specifications:
    • Hoses under 50 feet: 3/8-inch diameter
    • Hoses over 50 feet: 1/2-inch diameter
    • High-pressure fluid hoses
  • Application Conditions:
    • Apply at temperatures above 50°F
    • Ensures proper film formation
    • Impervious to water 90 minutes after application

Storage and Handling

  • Store above freezing temperatures
  • If frozen, thaw gradually with gentle heating
  • Thoroughly mix before use
  • Removal: Use mineral spirits or citrus-based cleaners
