Tectyl 502c Class I is a semi-firm film that is amber and translucent. Approved under Military Specifications MIL-PRF-16173E, Grade 2, Class 1 and MIL-P-116J, Type P-2.

Product Applications
Thanks to the solvent carrier, the Tectyl 502C Class I coating can be applied easily using brush, dip, or spray methods and will quickly tighten up as the solvent evaporates. Preferred application for this solvent-based, rust preventative product is dipping. This product can also be applied by brush or spray. Daubert Chemical Company recommends that the ambient and product temperature be 50 - 95°F (10 - 35°C) at time of application.
