Description
TECTYL 437D is a military-grade corrosion preventive compound manufactured by Daubert Chemical Company specifically designed for long-term protection against atmospheric corrosion. This hot application preservative features a firm, wax-like film that provides exceptional barrier protection for metal surfaces. The product is officially approved under Military Specification MIL-PRF-11796C as a Class 3 preservative and sealing compound, meeting stringent US Military requirements for performance and reliability.

Application Guidelines
- Supplied in open head containers as a solid at room temperature
- Recommended application by dip method at 200°F
- Can be applied by hot airless spray at recommended temperatures
- Alternative application by brush or swab at warm temperatures
- Apply to clean, dry metal surfaces for optimal adhesion and performance
Storage and Handling
- Store in original containers at recommended temperatures
- Keep containers tightly closed when not in use
- Removal of both wet and dry film using mineral spirits or citrus-based cleaners
- Provides up to 5 years of indoor storage protection
- Delivers up to 1 year of outdoor storage protection under proper conditions
