TECTYL 435D is a premium corrosion preventive compound manufactured by Daubert Chemical Company, designed specifically for long-term protection of metal surfaces against atmospheric corrosion. This petrolatum-based, hot application preservative creates a firm, wax-like barrier film that effectively shields both ferrous and non-ferrous metals from corrosive elements. The product is officially approved under Military Specification MIL-PRF-11796C for both Class 1 and Class 1A applications, demonstrating its exceptional performance and reliability in demanding environments.

Application Guidelines
- Supplied in open head containers as a solid at room temperature
- Recommended application by dip at 180°F
- Can be applied by hot airless spray at 175°F-200°F for optimal results
- Alternative application by brush or swab at warm temperatures
- Apply to clean, dry metal surfaces for best adhesion and performance
- Use pumps with ratios of 30:1 or greater for spray application
- Recommended tungsten carbide nozzles (0.019″ to 0.023″ tip size)
Storage and Handling
- Store in original containers at recommended temperatures
