Tectyl 155FF is a premium, black rust-proofing undercoating manufactured by Daubert Chemical Company. This high-performance product is formulated with solvent-based gelled calcium sulfonate compound, cutback with mineral spirits, providing superior long-term protection compared to basic asphalt-based coatings. When applied, Tectyl 155FF creates a non-tacky, firm, black wax-like film that offers exceptional corrosion resistance and abrasion protection for both steel and wood substrates. Application Guidelines
- Apply at 11-13 mils WFT to achieve 5-6 mils DFT for optimal protection

- Due to its high-solids and low VOC content, requires a higher ratio airless pump (20:1 or greater)
- Equipment should deliver 800-1200 psi to a 0.017 to 0.021 reverse-a-clean tip
